Wilderness Trail

For those of you who have been following our blog for a while, you will know that we are influenced strongly by the New Zealand landscape and climate in our colour palettes and architecture designs. Getting out and about in the elements is the best way to experience this. If you haven't explored the West Coast Wilderness trail yet - it is a brilliant way to see the diverse landscape along the West Coast of the South Island. We spent four days cycling on a great track from Ross to Greymouth, past old Gold mining towns, glacial river gorges, West Coast beaches, native forest, lakes, old train lines and historic mine shafts. Loved the colours and textures of these landscapes and can highly recommend heading there for a break away from it all.
